Job Description: Salesperson


Excel Systems & Solutions is looking for dedicated people to join it's sales force. Applicants need to be ready to meet new people and work hard to help increase our customer base.


Some of the things that you will learn here are:
  • How to work in a fast paced environment
  • How to use the National Fire Alarm Code Handbook (NFPA 72) when bidding Fire Alarm jobs
  • How to get leads from sources like the Blue Book and the Dodge report
  • How to spec out and bid many different low-voltage systems:
  • How to get the best pricing from vendors
  • The basic principles of low-voltage systems
  • How to compare and distinguish between different low-voltage hardware
  • How to use manufacturers cutsheets to compare equipment from different companies


    Requirements for the position:
  • You must live in Southern California
  • Some experience working with people (preferably in a sales position)
  • You need to be comfortable using a computer
